Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack MasterFit rooftop cargo box. This is gonna be a great way to get some extra storage for your vehicle, whether you're trying to make extra room for your passengers or just get some of that stuff out of your vehicle and up onto your roof. This one's going to be a pretty large box with 18 1/2 cubic feet of storage space, but for me, that's hard to kind of envision what that cargo means. So, we've got some stuff lined up here on the floor right now and we're gonna get it loaded up in the box and see how it fits. Rhino-Rack MasterFit Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Today, we'll be taking a look at our Rhino-Rack Rooftop Cargo Box, this is the MasterFit, that's 18 1/2 cubic feet, and we'll see how it fits on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. So you have your 4Runner and you're ready for adventure, but what if you need to carry around your other sports equipment, maybe you have extra long skis or snowboards or other gear that you would rather not have to store inside your vehicle That's where the MasterFit can come in handy. So compared to some of your other boxes, this is gonna be more sleek, more low-profile, more aerodynamic, but then, you also don't have as much height for your cargo capacity. Another thing with this is when you have your extra large boxes, you'll be concerned about hatch clearance, this one just barely makes the cut, but it works. So yes, I know with your 4Runner if you need to access your hatch, you can just lower the hatch window, but what if you need to open up the hatch door So with this box isolated as far forward as it can go on the track system, the crossbars are as far forward on the raised rails as they can get, and lifting this hatch, you can see it goes all the way up, and then at the very top, it just barely touches the box, but there's no weight on it. And if you're concerned about garage clearance, measuring from the top of our roof to the top of the roof box, it is gonna add 21 1/2 inches to the top. more

I know you have a lot of cargo space there in your Q7, but what if you wanna use your third row of seats You then lose out on that cargo space, or if you wanna carry items that are a little bulky, a little large like skis and snowboards, it's so much easier to put them onto your roof rather than finding a spot for them in your backseat, that's where rooftop cargo box like this can come in handy. This is the Thule Force XT L, you can actually get the slightly larger size which is the XL and still be able to open up your hatch and see your window, and we'll take those measurements here in this video. We're gonna get this onto our roof rack here. All right, go do it very carefully. You just wanna measure and make sure that the width of your crossbars are gonna be no larger than three and a half inches. And then the height is gonna be no larger than one and 11/16 inches. more

So, the next best place in my mind is the roof to put that stuff because for a hitch, it does require some cutting and you might not want to do that to your vehicle. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline, and today, we'll be taking a look at the Malone Cargo16 Rooftop Cargo Box right here at etrailer. This is one of my favorite affordable rooftop cargo boxes, because even though it has a really good price where it doesn't hurt your wallet, it still has good features like an easy way to put it on there without tightening down bolts, it has a lot of cargo space, and it has a really good finish that holds up to the elements. We'll talk about those features, but what we're gonna focus on, is it going to be the best fit for you, your vehicle, and your types of adventures So this is gonna have 16 cubic feet of space, which lies into the larger area of the mid-size cargo boxes. You can get cargo boxes up to 22 cubic feet if you need a lot of extra space, so this is a good in between, great for if you're going camping, hiking, overlanding, and if you have luggage for up to four people. We're gonna take this box inside, so that we can take a closer look at how it looks. If I lower my seats, I have good enough room for the skis, but what if I wanna bring friends with me or my larger suitcases Where do I put them We're able to put a lot of stuff in there, we have two pairs of skis, this can carry skis up to 193 centimeters, we have a tent in there, we also have some camping chairs, we even have a big fluffy winter coat, as well as other bags like dry bags, tripods, and even a mattress. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we'll be taking a look at the Malone Cargo 16 Rooftop Cargo Box right here on our 2017 Kia Forte5. Your Forte5 is a cute little hatchback with a lot of soul. It can do a lot of stuff and get those good speeds, but did you know you can also get a roof rack and even a roof box on it My friend here owns this car, and he and his wife went out camping, and he was saying it would've been nice if they had a rooftop cargo box for their extra gear. So this is probably the maximum size I would recommend for the Forte5. You can see where I position it just enough where it just hits the antenna, but we still have space to open up our hatch. There's definitely a clearance right over there, you may have to fit around or play around with your fit to get that clearance, but now, your hatch is open for your larger, heavier, bulkier items. more

Thule Roof Box Review - 2019 Toyota RAV4- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Thule Force XT Sport Rooftop Cargo Box, here on our 2019, Toyota RAV4. So this can be a very decent way of getting some of your gear out of your vehicle and on the top of your roof, that way starts freeing up a lot of leg room, a lot more storage item for stuff you don't really primarily want on the outside of your vehicle. This can be excellent for stuff like ski's, a little bit of coolers in there, duffle bags for sure, whatever really accessories we wanna get on here, we definitely can. Now, with 11 cu ft, still a pretty decent size here, and I like how it's not taking up too much room though with our Toyota, Rav4. So, even though it is a little high-profile, sits up a little tall, it's not over, you know, dominating our entire RAV4, here. Definitely doesn't look out of place, which I do like to see. more

Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima Grand Tour low, roof mounted cargo box. And this is an excellent way, guys, of getting your snowboards and your skis and a little bit of extra cargo with you to your trips. Now, why I say that, you can see we have a nice, low profile design here, which is excellent. However, that can make it a pain to start getting some of your more bulky luggage in the top here. So probably not gonna be your go-to for just cargo management. more

Yakima GrandTour Lo Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4- Video
Hey, everybody welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Yakima GrandTour Lo rooftop box here on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. So this is gonna be an excellent way of helping you manage a little bit of your cargo that you wanna bring with you, and primarily, could you find yourself skiing and snowboarding, this just might be the rooftop box for you. Why is that Well, we do have some pretty nice features here with 15 cubic feet and 165 pounds of weight capacity, and boasting enough room for up to 215 centimeter long skis and snowboards, this is gonna be a great little rooftop box for you. One thing I like about it too, pretty low profile, if you're comparing this to something like the regular GrandTour you can see, not as much room going towards the top, and really maximizing the length we have here today. So, with a 91 inch long exterior length here you can see, quite large. However, it does look pretty good here on the RAV4. more

What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out the Yakima DeepSpace 10. This is gonna be a cargo box that goes on your rails of our roof rack. So, we have the BedRock system installed here today. It's gonna be mounted onto these rails above your bed. And as you can see inside the truck bed, there's still room for stuff in the bed. more

Yakima DeepSpace 10 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2021 Toyota Tacoma- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at the Yakima DeepSpace 10 ladder rack cargo box right here on our 2021 Toyota Tacoma. So this is an interesting cargo box in that it's not really designed as a rooftop cargo box, you can definitely see those options here at etrailer, like the Yakima CBX, where it's a lot more aerodynamic. So this is a ladder rack cargo box, a little bit different from the rooftop cargo boxes you might've seen around. You can see it's not as aerodynamic, but it has its own special features. This one is super easy to take off and carry into your camp site. Then you have the hard shell tote to keep it on top of your vehicle when you're driving. more
